So on Friday I went to the all you can eat cook it yourself place with my wife. It was fun but very busy I guess being a Friday had something to do with it. The next day was my first Saturday of work, normally this class will be starting at 12pm but this one started at 10am. Not horrible but its not like the place is right across the street, I have to walk, take a bus and a subway to get there. I wanted to get there a little early (I would much rather be too early than a little late) so I figured I would wake up around 7:30 and get ready to leave around 8:10 (which is when the bus was coming, the next one wouldn't be till 8:50). I ended up not being able to fall asleep till around 1 am so not the best start, I woke up once around 4am and it was the kind of waking up where you feel totally awake. After I feel back to sleep I again woke up at 7am, wanting to get all the sleep I could I figured I would keep sleeping till my alarm went off at 7:30. Again I woke up on my own accord and looked at my phone to see that it was 7:52am!! What the heck, what happened to the alarm, what happened to 7:30, whats going on.
I didn't have time to figure that out I jumped up and ran down stairs, taking a shower was now out so I had to do what I could to clean up my face and hair. I then ran up stairs to get dressed it was about 8am. After getting dressed I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs to get my shoes and leave. I opened the door to go outside and noticed it was starting to rain, my bag is leather so I had to think about it for a second but decided to go back in and switch bags its about 8:10 at this point. I made the switch and ran back downstairs and out the door. I didn't have my shoes fully on and my belt was actually in my bag with my tie so I looked pretty funny I'm sure. When I got to the bus stop I was happy to see another guy waiting for the bus which means I hadn't missed it, yay for traffic.
After I got to work I had sometime so I did the only good thing you can do when you are up at crazy hours of the morning (Oh my hard life, right?). I went to McDonalds to get some McBreakfast action, there is actually a McDonalds right across the street from my building so that made it an easy decision. For some reason I order for two people even though it was just me, I do this a lot its like I feel like its the last time I'm going to eat somewhere (McD, Wendys, BK etc) I don't know why it just happens. Anyway I was still full from the night before so I actually only ate one of the sandwiches... Ok one and a half but I save the half for later.
Class was fine and afterwards I headed home, I started to not feel that great though. It was a stomach thing which was not too fun. Once I got home there was a package waiting for me, about 2 months ago I ordered a few games from play-asia.com. The reason for this is I wanted a game for my region locked 3DS and that was the only place I could get US region games. Though I didn't think it would take this long. One of the games had just been released when I ordered it, literally that day, so I think that had something to do with the supply and why I had to wait. I also ordered another game for my Xbox, it is a kinect game that is suppose to be the spiritual successor to Rez called Child of Eden. I'm excited to give it a try but I'll have to set up my kinect first and knowing how I am about setting stuff up that is in boxes it might be awhile.
Then there was the 3DS game, this is actually the game that caused me to get the 3DS in the first place. I had been reading about it for about a year and a half maybe 2 years, I went thought the is it going to even come out in the west, oh its in Europe (aka English) but not in North America, okay finally it will come out but you have to wait another 6 months while we change somethings so its less sexual aka costume and dialog changes and some gameplay tweaks. Anyway finally I have my copy of Bravely Default for my 3DS and its awesome I have been playing for about 2 days and am up to just over 10hrs of gameplay.
Its really good. In retrospect I should have waited and just got it when I came to Japan, what happened is when they updated the game for NA they released that version here (which is the same one I have just with the original dialog and costumes) and they added the English text and audio as options. That would have allowed me to get the game months ago and I would have a 3DS that is in the Japanese region which would allow me to buy other games much easier. Oh well hindsight is 20/20.
The rest of that night was spent awake feeling horrible and less then fun trips to the bathroom. I got almost no sleep and yeah it just wasn't fun. I started to feel better the next day, I figured I must have had some not fully cooked pork or chicken from the all you can eat place. So kinda my fault. I don't like being sick.
