Well I have been lazy this last week and haven't taken any pictures of the stuff (not just games) that I got or did so I kept putting off posting this. I still don't have a lot of the pictures but I wanted to post something anyway.
Last week I had my first 3 lesson work day, which starts at 5pm and ends at 9:30pm. I have a hour and a half break at 7pm, where I figured I would go get some dinner. There is a McDonalds right across the street from the store. However instead of that my boss took me out to eat, which was nice. It was funny because her kids, who I teach, were also came. I had to teach 3 lessons again this week and again I was taken out for dinner, this time we went to her mothers cafe which is also right across the street. Once again her kids were with us, I had hamburg which is like meatloaf but better/the same but I like it more.
Also last week my wife and I went to a new restaurant, this time it was spanish food. I was not that interested at first as we were originally going to go to the Italian place. However when I walked in it smelled pretty good so that put me to ease. We ordered nachos, quesadilla (which I think is a funny word) and a chicken and potato dish. The nachos came with steak which we were not expecting so that was a nice surprise and it really made the nachos that much better.
Next we had the quesadilla which was good but not great, then the chicken. The chicken was good, it had a tomato sauce with cheese, slices of tomato and ham on top of the chicken. The best part though was the potatoes which were more like french fries, they were crisp and really hot.
I did buy some games this week but I will wait for another day to talk about those and I also bought a new messenger bag which is really nice but I haven't taken any pictures so I will wait on that as well.
Hmm, this wasn't suppose to be all about food.... oh well. Hmm, great now I'm hungry.
BONUS FOOD PRODUCT REVIEW!!
Last week after leaving work I went to a convince store at the train station and found a bag Funyuns. I didn't think these existed in Japan so I picked up a bag with great excitement.
The next day I opened them up and was ready for some Fun-yun-ey-ness awesomeness. However once again I was left with a mouthful of disappointment. The taste is a little off and the texture is not the same, back home the rings are mostly thin and crunchy but here all of them are fluffy which is just not the same. Ha-Boo.
Nice man. I meant to reply to the other game posts, but lost track of time. Seems like things are going well for you now that you're teaching. How is it to work with the children & other teachers? The food pics look great, too bad there's no turkey or fish in those dishes, but oh well. Tell your wife I said hi.
ReplyDeleteWait you don't eat chicken?? Oh I guess the ham would rule that out ehh?
ReplyDeleteI do eat chicken, but no Ham/Pork.
