Some Pizza, Pool and (of course) Some Games

A few days ago I went to the insurance office to find out how much my surgery was going to cost me. If you remember there was a chance I would have to pay around $9000 so I was really worried about that. After we got there and talked to the people I learned that I would not have to pay the 30% ($9K) in fact I would not need to spend any money at all, it was all going to be covered. So that was super good news for me.

Yesterday I had to go to work to get some videos put on our website. After work I met with Daichi and we went to this really good pizza place. By the way the name of this pizza was "Ninja Pizza" which made me say "Ninja pizza, home of the nice slice".
Super bouns points if you know what thats from. Answer: That was the name and tag line of the pizzeria that the turtles visited in the very first episode of the Ninja Turtles 1987 cartoon, duh super obvious:-)
After we ate we went to a pool hall to play a few games which was a lot of fun. I think the last time I played a game of pool was maybe 3 years ago so I was super rusty but toward the end it started to come back a little bit. I should start playing more often we played for an hour and it was just $5 which wasn't too bad but I'm sure we could find a better place. The one we went to we chose because it was close to the pizza place but it was kind of a dive.
Then today I went in to Tenjin to look around, I went back to the store that I had found the MSX games at and found a few more that were not there last time but the only one I picked up was Hole in One Special ($2.80).
I then went over to Mandarake and bit the bullet picking up both a boxed copy of Street Fighter Zero 3 with the 4 MB Ram cart ($90) as well as Dungeons & Dragons ($60) both for the Saturn.
I also got another copy of Super Aleste ($15) and was able to find Super R-Type ($6).
Then when I got home I was told there was a package for me, I couldn't think of any reason I would have a package so I figured it was something from home. When I looked at the box it was shipped from Japan so it couldn't be from home, I opened it and was surprised I had forgotten about it. It was a Ninja Turtles toy I had won on a Japanese Auction site for $12.
Boy a lot of TMNT in this post. Back in my hay-day of collecting this would have been an awesome buy as it was something I really wanted back then but the prices in the states were always around $100 for one figure. Anyway its super cool but I will probably end up selling it.
