A lot for just one day

Waiting for the Bus
Last night I met up with the guy from Canada we didn't really do anything because he is on a budget but we talked for a little while which was nice. After he left I went to Super Book Off again and was looking for Gundam Side Story II on the Saturn a game I knew they had for only a $1. I found the game and picked Desire which was also for the Saturn (it came with everything including some trading cards) it was ether $1 or $2. Then I picked up a few others to resell Super Mario World 3 for the Famicom (or NES back home) and Yoshis Island for the SFC both were just $1.
As I was starting to leave I noticed that the staff was restocking the SFC carts so I decided to wait to see if there was anything good. They added about 30 or 40 carts so I had high hopes of finding something however once they were done and I started to look though the games there really wasn't anything there. I found Mickeys Magical Adventure for $5 and decided to get that then the 2nd to last game turned out to be Street Fighter Zero 2 (or Alpha 2 back home) which is pretty rare they wanted $9 but I figured that wasn't too bad and decided to pick that up too.
Today I went to my Japanese class, I usually don't go on Saturdays because its hard to wake up for the 10am start time. I got up today and really didn't want to go but forced myself to go. The only good thing about being up before 10:30 is McDonalds breakfast. I can't remember the last time I had breakfast at McDs. But to my horror they did not have anything with the biscuit! What? Say it ain't so! It was still good the hash brown was perfectly cooked which was a big plus ( I hate when they are all soggy). I got it with milk and the picture on the box kinda creeped me out, damn clowns.

After class I had lunch with some classmates and we talked about doing an end of the year party, which is very common in Japan. Once I got back home there was a package waiting for me. This was super exciting because it is one of the items I mentioned that I had ordered. What could it be? just look at the pictures...
That's right folks the Sega Saturn Twin Stick!! I have wanted this thing since I first learned of its existence (which was a long time ago). Actually before that even, I have wanted it since I first grabbed hold of them in the arcade over ten years ago, they just fit the games they are designed for so perfectly. They were only released for the Saturn (and later the Dreamcast) in Japan so that made it extra hard to get back home. I had seen them on eBay but the shipping cost was $70 so right there I was out, but I saw them on eBay again and asked how much would it cost to ship to me here and it was only $15 so in total I ended up spending $40 for them.  The shipping was really quick too only 2 days so that was awesome. Totally worth it right cuz it works with all of 5 or 6 games.... shut up they are wicked cool. That also explains why I went to get that Gundam game (it works with this controller). They have a really good build quality and the controller itself is in great condition. The box looks awesome but does have some damage. If I had to give it a grade I'd say its a high D or a C and its missing the inside.  Still I'm super happy about it and can't wait to try it out.

I still have something coming in the mail but its not anywhere as cool as this.
