Another long one

Its been a few day since the last post so I'll try to catch things up. First, a few days ago we went to the temple where my wife's grandparents remains are the building is really nice and had some nice wood work. Not much else went on that day.

The following day I had my first Japanese lesson in the city. It was interesting but mostly first lesson feeling out kind of stuff so nothing major. The lessons are 2 hrs long and are held on Saturdays and Wednesdays the best part is they are free and are taught by volunteers (who know what they are doing). After the lesson my wife and I walked around and I finally had a burger, though it was not from Mos Burger but rather another burger joint called Freshness Burger.


On Sunday my wife and I went to have lunch with one of her friends. The restaurant was pretty close so we decided to walk but we regretted that as it was really hot and being almost noon there was not much shade. Along the way we saw a shop that had mostly motorcycles out front but was advertised as a antiques store oddly enough spider man was just hanging out above the door. It looked really out of place.

When we got to the place I ordered a fried chicken type of meal but our friend got a fried wrap looking thing that looked really good and had me a little jealous. My meal was non the less very good.

After we ate we went back to our friends house and hung out for a bit. Her kid had a toy box in the shape of a VW bus but the front said VV and on the side there was a bit of japan-glish.

Finally last night we decided to go back out and at a dollar store I found a really odd snack. An ear of corn individually wrapped. You know for when your on the bus but have a real craving for some corn.
