More Games

Well after yesterdays success with the recycling shop I decided to go down to another recycling store (it calls itself a flee market but its the same idea). This store was right across from Yamada so it was about a 15 minute walk. Once I got there it was again a tight isle mess with only enough room for one person to walk down. It was in the back that I found the old school games I was hoping to find. They had PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Mega Drive (Genesis in the US), Neo Geo CD, SFC (SNES in the US), Game Boy, GBC, PC Engine and Super Grafx. However they only had about 10 or so games for each system, still a nice collection.
One game that I took a closer look at was Lunar 2 for the Sega Saturn it was in great shape and actually still had the trading cards and they were unopened.

Over all they had some good games for all the systems Enemy Zero (SS), Sonic Adventure and Code Veronica (DC) and Street Fighter Alpha 2 (PS1) but in the end I only bought 2 games and they were for the Super Famicom. The selection of SFC games was not that great but I picked up Super Mario World and Dragon Quest VI. The best part about this place was the prices, any game for any system was only $1.00!!

Then on my way out the door I noticed a box on top of a microwave. It was an original Play Station complete and in the box!!! I actually just learned how to ask how much something cost last night at my Japanese lesson and since I couldn't see a price listed I was able to use the phrase. So I asked how much it was and the shop worker told me it was $10.00. Ten dollars are you kidding me! She must have taken my surprised look as shock to the price and she asked me if I thought it was too high. Too high? No that was a very fair price, but in the end I told her I would have to think about it. I don't think my wife would like it very much if I came home for the second day in a row with a video game system under my arm. Besides that there just are not enough PS1 games that I really need to play and I already own a Japanese PS2 (that can play Japanese PS1 games) granted its back in the states but still.
